Adele is back. New figure, new shape, but same stunning voice. Must admit, hearing her songs played everywhere, from cabs in London to each and every corner in France, Spain or Bucharest, even if you adore her at one point it’s a bit too much. As a song use to say “even the good can be a curse”. But Adele’s performance last night at Grammy made me fight for this love. In the day when most people were quite shocked and surprised about Whitney Houston’s tragic death, Adele’s victory was a beautiful change.
At only 23 years old, she simply raffled all 6 Grammy awards she was nominated for, including best album for “21” and best song for “Rolling into deep”. Presented by Gwyneth Paltrow, Adele impressed with a new version of her award winning song.
Her cover for Vogue US March edition is out, showing that Lagerfeld’s unhappy comments didn’t stopped Anna Wintour to choose the singer and do a photo session with more than just Adele’s portrait.
I took a look at the magazine’s covers featuring the winner. From Billboard to The Gentlewoman or Vogue’s US I really liked it, as well as Vogue’s photo shooting done by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
