After I’ve seen Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan and thought that the only thing I liked about it was Rodarte’s sisters costumes, I decided to not trust IMDB’s rating again – this movie had 8/10 points! It might be a question of personal taste, but I felt caught in a male fantasy with all the possible and predictable clichées who gave little room to a scenario.
In the same time and talking with friends about the fact that good movies aren’t always the ones with great points on IMDB, I realized that there are a lot of underrated movies you learn about only from that friend having the same taste in movies as you do. So today I’ll focus on some of them, movies I really loved and think are so great that they must be seen. Of course, this includes a special French selection not only pour les connoisseurs.

Hope you’ll enjoy it – and to let me know what you thought about it 😉
