The new creative director at Brioni is an unconventional choice for the 70-year-old luxury company and well known as a street style star. Which shows clearly the aspect of today’s new creative director job, as Justin O’Shea has no training or experience so far as designer.
This happens also because today the responsibility of such position goes far beyond designing several collections a year.
“An unconventional profile for such a position, Justin brings a holistic approach and strong understanding of business,” said Grita Loebsack, CEO of Kering’s Luxury – Couture & Leather Goods Emerging Brands. “I believe his vision will accurately translate into this role and add a distinctive signature to the house.”

Former MyTheresa fashion director, australien Justin O’Shea has been as well actor for Mercedes in the brand’s Fashion series and has a solid experience in retail. The buyer for Al Ostoura, the luxury retailer from Kuweit, joined MyTheresa.com in 2009. Promoted global fashion director from global buying director in January 2015, O’Shea moves fast and feels the change.
