L’incroyable aventure du Musée des Arts forains

A coté du Cours Saint Emilion j’ai souvent photographié un bâtiment en pierre. A l’étage, dans des alvéoles (probablement des fenêtres murées) se trouvent des têtes sculptées à dimension réelle, avec des expressions un peu caricaturales, qui nous regardent. J’avais vu que c’est le Musée des Arts forains et je dois préciser que depuis l’âge d’environs 30 ans je n’aime plus les foires. Je regarde parfois sur le ciel le reflets des lumières de la Foire du Trône, mais sans aucune envie d’aller plus…

Christmas time 2016 in Paris

Some days ago a swiss friend sent me a pirate video clip currently circulating on the net: old videos of riots that took place some ten or more years ago were edited and presented like images of an actual attack of immigrants on the capital of France. Violent street scenes terrorise a scared population with police incapable of handling the situation. The title was  “Paris occupied by immigrants – the media keeps silent”. Christmas 2015 windows in Paris

It is difficult to focus on Christmas, happiness and shopping after the terrible events who shattered Paris lately. And strange to think about business or fashion at the end of the year in these moments. But as each year I take a close look at the Christmas windows in Paris of different brands, here I go today. In Marais, rue de Rivoli or rue Saint Honoré, let’s take a walk in the city of lights. Bonne balade !
